Flexible Scheduling Gives LifeTech Family More Time Together

Flexible scheduling is a common reason why parents choose LifeTech Academy. Some families travel, others have athletes that choose to spend their days balancing practices and schoolwork and many have unique obstacles in their lives and want an educational option that works well around their own schedules, including Learner Adrian of Lansing.

“It works great for Adrian, my wife, and myself. Adrian gets to start a little later in the morning which is awesome because my wife and I both have medical issues that make mornings rough,” Adrian’s mother Amber said.

Switching to LifeTech 

Adrian came to us as a fifth grader after his parents decided the public school he was attending didn’t work well for them. “ It has been a huge blessing,” Amber added. “He makes his own priorities and goals and we just check on Summit to see his progress. He is really able to work independently and of course with help from his mentor, Marley. She has been a great resource and point of support for Adrian. We appreciate her tons!” 

An uninterrupted education 

During the pandemic many families switched to LifeTech for various reasons, including the desire to give their children an uninterrupted education. Although Adrian (now a LifeTech eighth grader) did not pick LifeTech because of the pandemic, his family appreciates the fact that while other school options are being constantly interrupted, our education has remained completely consistent. “It was great to know the pandemic did not affect his education as we were able to proceed as normal,” Amber said. “It has been a huge blessing.”
